When it comes to web design pricing, there is no universal set range. Pricing can range from $200 to $5000 for the same exact website. It all depends on the company, reputation, skill and customer service. We at Tech Guy have been told that our prices are too low. We have been told this even by our own clients. It is hard to get any kind of average for web design and development costs but I have done some research and have come up with some averages from some quality companies...
Pricing Averages On The Web
- Basic 5-10 page website: $1100 - $2000
- Ecommerce website - $2000 - $5000
- Social networking website - $1500 - $3500
Tech Guy Pricing Averages
- Basic 5-10 page website: - $500 - $800
- Ecommerce website - $750 - $2000
- Social networking website - $650 - $1400
Why are our prices so low?
There are some people that see our low priced web design prices and automatically think that we are either underqualified, don't give good enough quality or any other negative reason. The truth is, they couldn't be further from the truth. If you talk to ANY Tech Guy client they will tell you how much effort we put into our work and how much we actually care for our clients and their needs. All of our work is high quality and is done to the best of the designer/developers ability whether it is a $2000 project or a $100 project.
We have a few reasons for our low priced web design, development, SEO and hosting...
Keeps the client coming back - We have a range of returning clients due to giving them such a low price and such quality work. The come back for support and maintenance on their current website or have us build a whole new site altogether.
Times are tough - We know times are tough and not everyone has $5000 to throw at a website. I have struggled financially in both my business and personal life so I understand how tough it can be especially starting up a new business. It might sound clechay, but I actually care. I want our clients to think of us as their friends and on the same level.
We love what we do - In addition to the above another reason why our prices are so low is...I LOVE TO BUILD WEBSITES..and so does anyone else that is employed by Tech Guy. We do not employ or work with money hungry developers that do not care about their work or clients and who's sole focus is money.
